Rain or Shine picks up a much-needed win in the 2019 PBA Commissioner’ Cup.
The Elasto Painters survived an injury to their import in Denzel Bowles Saturday, grinding out a tough 86-84 decision over Alaska at the MOA Arena.
ROS moved up in the standings with the win as their 4-5 record will overtake the Aces’ 4-6 mark.
The Elasto Painters missed the services of Denzel Bowles for most of the game after the former Best Import went down with an apparent leg injury. He scored 16 points in 18 minutes.
Without Bowles, the ROS locals had to hold their ground and they did with a strong collective effort in the second half.
