PBA: Streaking TNT shoots for top seed vs. slumping Magnolia
The KaTropa have been on a tear in the mid-season joust, winning seven straight games and at 9-1, they’re in first place right now in the team standings.

TNT will go for the number 1 seed in the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

The KaTropa have been on a tear in the mid-season joust, winning seven straight games and at 9-1, they’re in first place right now in the team standings.

TNT can keep that ranking with another win Wednesday against Magnolia and the KaTropa will head to the playoffs as the top team of the elimination round.

After a hot streak of their own, the Hotshots have lost three straight for a 5-5 record. The team is through to the next round too but it’s all about positioning for Magnolia now. Tip off will be at 7:00 p.m. live from the Big Dome.

In the first game at 4:30 p.m. San Miguel Beer (5-5) will fight for playoff positioning as well. The Beermen take on Meralco (3-7) with the Bolts needing a win to force a playoff for 8th against the Alaska Aces.
