Rakeem Christmas, who’s in a relationship with NBA legend Michael Jordan’s daughter Jasmine, is ready to give it his all for Magnolia.
Wednesday was not quite the Christmas in July Magnolia expected.
New import Rakeem Christmas struggled in his Hotshots debut, putting up only eight points and 14 rebounds in a loss to TNT.
Worse, he was brought in to try and spark something in Magnolia but instead, the Hotsots head to a Manila Clasico clash against defending champion Ginebra with a four-game losing skid.
“I’m not satisfied with that game at all,” Christmas said.
“It was my first game back in a while. Just have to get that out of the way and improve in the next game, get ready for the playoffs. Just gotta put that behind me and just move on,” he added.
With just a few days before Game 1 of the quarterfinals against Ginebra, Christmas is hoping to put enough in practice to help Magnolia deal with the Gin Kings.
He’s also doing his own homework in preparation for the defending champs who are entering the playoffs with a three-game run.
“It's crucial. Those two days before the game, the practices is where I'll be a lot. Just gotta put this game behind me, move on and just get ready for the next game,” Christmas said.
“They told me they're a very good team so I'm gonna go back to the hotel, eat, watch some YouTube and film on the and just get ready,” he added.

That’s what the #GOAT tells him to do everytime he goes out to play anyway.
“He's a great guy, he's very humble.,” Christmas said of Jordan.
“He just tells me everytime I come out here to just give it my all and just get ready, so like I said I'm gonna put this game behind me and get ready for the next one,” he added.
