Terrence’s son Ajani, who was Filipino roots, is in Manila to watch him play.
Terrence Jones has been an absolute beast in the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
Following another strong performance against Magnolia Wednesday with 26 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists, and five blocks, Jones has officially led TNT to the number 1 seed in the mid-season joust.
The KaTropa will enter the playoffs with a 10-1 record and an eight-game winning streak.
“Just taking it one game at a time like we've been doing throughout the regular season I'm just being focused and making sure we follow the game plan and just execute it,” Jones said of the playoff berth.
“I just give the credit to us defensively, and then you know offensively everybody's making shots everybody's being aggressive and everybody's believing in one another and happy for one another so that's the difference,” he added.
Jones has been pretty motivated playing for TNT and he’s got someone in town that has added more fuel to his fire.
Terrence’s son Ajani, who has Filipino roots, is in Manila to watch his father play.
“I'm excited man he's been excited all day he's been up since 5 a.m. so he's tired now but you know he had a great time at practices at the game so you know I'm very happy he's here,” Jones said of his son.
“No question. Yeah, definitely motivation and, you know, he told me he wanted to win so I got him that and you know I'm happy that he's here,” he added.
