PBA: Lost signal can finally be restored for TNT
As the no. 1 team in the 2019 PBA Comissioner’s Cup, TNT needs only one win in the quarterfinals to move on to the next round.

TNT is in a semis drought.

The flagship MVP franchise has failed to advance in the playoffs for two years now. That can change Sunday.

As the no. 1 team in the 2019 PBA Comissioner’s Cup, TNT needs only one win in the quarterfinals to move on to the next round.

After a dominating performance in the elimination round, the KaTropa certainly earned their top ranking. In 11 games, TNT won 10 times and beat opponents by an average of 15 points.

The team’s closest game was a seven-point win against Columbian. Entering the quarterfinals, TNT also has an eight-game winning streak.

With super import Terrence Jones at the lead, the KaTropa are a well-oiled machine for the moment.

The team will be up against a gritty Alaska crew, a team that’s an 8th seed for the second time this season. The Aces survived Meralco in overtime to make the playoffs and they’re hoping that that performance can lead to a breakthrough this year.

We’ll find out if that’s the case when TNT and Alaska battle it out Sunday 4:30 p.m. at the Big Dome. The KaTropa advance with a win.
