The no. 6 Elasto Painters scored sensational Game 1 victory thanks to a Rey Nambatac game-winner.
Half of the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup semifinals can be set Tuesday.
The quarterfinals continue at the Big Dome and defending champion Brgy. Ginebra and Rain or Shine look to punch their respective tickets to the next round.
Ginebra is up first as the Gin Kings led Manila Clasico quarters against rival Magnolia, 1-0.
The Gin Kings managed to hold off the Hotshots in Game 1 Saturday and they hope to avoid yet another playoff collapse with a Game 2 win.
Tip off for Manila Clasico is at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
In the second game, Rain or Shine is out to end no. 3 Blackwater’s dream conference.
