PBA: Jones dominates endgame and TNT takes 1-0 lead
Down by as many as 10 in the second half, TNT completed the comeback in the fourth quarter to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series.

Terrence Jones and no. 1 TNT land the first haymaker of these PBA semifinals.

Jones came alive in the end, scoring two crucial layups as the top-ranked KaTropa overcame defending champion Ginebra in Game 1 Friday at the Big Dome, 95-92.

Down by as many as 10 in the second half, TNT completed the comeback in the fourth quarter to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series.

Jones picked Justin Brownlee’s pocket in the final 90 seconds to put the KaTropa up, 93-89.

TNT’s super import was then good for another layup with 10 seconds left, leaving Joe Devance in the dust before beating Brownlee at the rim to put the KaTropa up by three, 95-92.

A stop on the other end allowed TNT to seal the win. Game 2 is set for Sunday also at the Big Dome.
