PBA: Jones focused on winning Game 4 for TNT

“You can’t win the series by winning two games in a row, you have to win three. We just trying to make sure that we win the next game. That’s the only thing we’re worried about,” — Terrence Jones.
TNT import Terrence Jones is not sweating the team’s Game 3 loss to defending champion Brgy. Ginebra in the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup semifinals.
After all, the Gin KIngs still only have one win and you need three to advance.
The top-ranked KaTropa looked awesome in back-to-back games to start this series and they’re not quite out of the woods just yet.
“As always, it’s just one game at a time,” Jones said.
“You can’t win the series by winning two games in a row, you have to win three. We just trying to make sure that we win the next game. That’s the only thing we’re worried about,” he added.
In Game 4, Jones says it’s important for TNT to start better.
The KaTropa were down early and were trailing by 10 at the break. TNT got a big run in the third quarter to tie only to run out of steam in the fourth as Ginebra managed to break away for good.
“We came out sluggish, from the tip, I think they scored within like two seconds. I think that was mainly our fault and we had to fight back,” Jones said.
“If we would have came ready from the beginning, then I think we would have a better opportunity to try to win the game,” he added.
