TNT has maintained its high level of play all the way to the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals.
The top-ranked KaTropa were masterful in a Game 1 win Sunday, taking an early lead in the best-of-7 series against San Miguel.
Led by import Terrence Jones, TNT wasted little time imposing its will on the Beermen, rolling to a 13-point win in the series opener.
Wednesday back at the Big Dome, the KaTropa go for a commanding 2-0 lead as they look to continue their mid-season tear.
Meanwhile, the Beermen should be better in Game 2. Two full days of rest benefits San Miguel in terms of recovery and actually putting up decent schemes to counter TNT’s weapons.
Tip off for Game 2 will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday live from the Araneta Coliseum.
