PBA Finals: June Mar helps carry SMB in huge Game 4 win

San Miguel Beer was tough in Game 4 of the 2019 PBA Commissioner’ Cup Sunday, scoring an all-important 106-101 win at the Big Dome.
Led by June Mar Fajardo, the Beermen got a strong second-half effort to force a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.
After the KaTropa once again unloaded in the second period, San Miguel turned around in the third and pulled away led by June Mar after he scored on five straight baskets.
In the fourth, the Beermen hit timely baskets to hold off a comeback attempt by TNT.
Three players finished with at least 20 points for the Beermen led by import Chris McCullough with 27 points and 22 rebounds.
Alex Cabagnot had 25 while Fajardo finished with 22, 16 in the second half.
TNT got 32 points and 16 rebounds from Best Import Terrence Jones and another 24 from Troy Rosario. Best Player of the Conference Jayson Castro scored 17 points to go along with eight rebounds and eight assists.
Game 5 is on Wednesday back at the Big Dome.
