With Wednesday’s Game 5 win, San Miguel Beer was the first team to get back-to-back victories in the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals.
Now looking for a trifecta, the Beermen are out to finish off top-ranked TNT KaTropa.
The series between the league’s two flagship teams move on to a Game 6 with San Miguel holding a crucial 3-2 lead.
If the Beermen complete the job, it will be the team’s 27th overall title and another shot at a Grand Slam is very much in play.
However, TNT is a tough out and the KaTropa should be raring to force a deciding Game 7.
TNT is yet to lose three straight games all season and they don’t really plan to do that now especially with a championship hanging in the balance.
Game 6 will tip off at 7:00 p.m. Frida live from the Big Dome.
