PBA Finals: Romeo earns stripes for SMB to win MVP

The transition is truly complete for Terrence Romeo.
In two conferences for San Miguel Beer, Romeo has made it to two Finals and won two championships.
For the second one in the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup, Terrence has been named Honda-PBA Press Corps Finals MVP.
Romeo was the hero off the bench in this series for SMB.
His best pair of games were crucial for the Beermen, exploding for 29 points in Game 2 as San Miguel won in double overtime to force a 1-1 tie.
In Game 5, Romeo was matching TNT import Terrence Jones almost point-for-point in the first half to keep the Beermen within striking distance. He ultimately scored 22 points for to help San Miguel take a 3-2 lead.
Romeo averaged 14.8 points, 4.3 assists, and 2.3 rebounds in these Finals.
