Now that he’s in a better mood, Chris McCullough is ready to talk about Gilas Pilipinas again.
He wants that chance to play for the national team for sure.
“I wanna play man,” McCullough said.
The young San Miguel Beer import first sparked the idea with a simple tweet a few weeks back and if given the opportunity, C-Mac is all for the idea of suiting up for the Philippine national team.
“If I get naturalized, I wanna play. It’s an opportunity for me so I’d love to play,” he added.
After winning the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup with San Miguel, McCullough will remain a busy guy.
His next stint will be in Korea for Anyang KGC. McCullough’s ultimate goal is to make it back to the NBA but if not, a return to San Miguel is always welcome.
“Hopefully I’ll be back in the NBA next year,” McCullough said. “If not, I’m back at SMB.”
