PBA: NLEX set to re-acquire Miranda in trade
In a trade proposal submitted to the league office, NLEX and Northport have engaged in a straight swap featuring Miranda and guard Juami Tiongson.

PBA trade alert.

Following the PBA Commissioner’s approval, NLEX is set to re-acquire forward Mike Miranda via trade.

In a trade proposal submitted to the league office, NLEX and Northport have engaged in a straight swap featuring Miranda and guard Juami Tiongson.

“It so happened that Mike was available. Since Mike came from our team before and knows my system, he became a natural consideration,” head coach Yeng Guiao said via the team’s release.

Miranda found himself in TNT after the Road Warriors acquired Poy Erram from Blackwater before the start of the current season.

He quickly fell out of the KaTropa’s rotation and was sent to Northport as part of the Jericho Cruz-to-NLEX trade.

Meanwhile, Juami Tiongson is set to join the Northport backcourt that includes Robert Bolick, Nico Elorde, and Sol Mercado.
