— Troy Rosario. (PBA)
TNT’s big win over Rain or Shine Saturday in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup was marred by one flagrant foul incident late in the fourth quarter.
With 3:50 to go, ROS import Joel Wright extended his foot and tripped KaTropa forward Troy Rosario, earning him an F1 and three minutes of mandatory bench time.
The incident came right after a rebound play when the two forwards battled for a rebound and Wright ended up getting hit by the ball in the face.
Rosario says he was just going after the defensive rebound.
Troy says it might have been a frustration play on the part of Wright.
But after the KaTropa got the win in the end, Rosario says everything’s good. He also assured he’s okay after he was seen with pain on his elbows following the hit.
