PBA: Red-hot NLEX drives past Blackwater for 3rd straight win

NLEX’s red-hot start to the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup continues.
The Road Warriors cruised past Blackwater Sunday at Sta. Rosa, Laguna, picking up a solid 115-109 win in the season-ending joust.
Behing another balanced scoring attack, NLEX zoomed to a 3-0 record, back to solo first in the team standings.
Import Olu Ashaolu finished with 31 points for NLEX but Kiefer Ravena was easily the best player on the floor despite coming off the bench.
The Phenom was an all-around beast, going for 25 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists. Three other locals finished in double figures for the Road Warriors led by Kenneth Ighalo and Philip Paniamogan with 12 points apiece.
NLEX and Blackwater broke the PBA record for most 3-point shots made in the game, combining for 37 triples. The previous record was 35 by TNT and San Miguel just last June.
The Elite dropped to 0-2 with the loss. Paul Desiderio scored a career-high 24 for Blackwater while Ray Parks (28 points) and Marqus Blakely (18 points) also had productive outings.
