TNT grabs a share of first place in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup.
The KaTropa shook off a pesky Rain or Shine Saturday, picking up a 103-91 win in the season-ending joust at the Big Dome.
With a balanced attack led by import KJ McDaniels, TNT slowly pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 2-0 mark, joining idle NLEX for the lead in the team standings.
McDaniels scored 37 points on top of 13 rebounds, five assists, and five blocks in the win.
Troy Rosario came off the bench and scored 16 points as TNT’s top local while Jayson Castro added another 15 points.
ROS dropped to 1-2 with the loss. The Elasto Painters got 20 points from Joel Wright and 19 points from rookie Javee Mocon.
