PBA: After Gilas, CJ-Bolick is even more must-see basketball

There are a lot of big games this week in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup but one very interesting showdown has to be Northport vs. Columbian on Wednesday.

The Batang Pier and the Dyip open the week’s slate at the Araneta Coliseum and it will be the third showdown this season between the league’s top rookies in CJ Perez and Robert Bolick.

But what makes this game more special is the fact that this is their first game against each other following the 2019 FIBA World Cup.

Both rookies were revelations in the World Championships as both impressed for Gilas Pilipinas and were one of the best, if not the best, players on the national team.

It will be quite interesting to see them match up now that they’re both back in the PBA.
