PBA: Hot shooting TNT drops Phoenix to maintain perfect run

TNT shoots its way to a 3-0 start in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup.
The KaTropa were on target from deep in the second half Wednesday, burning Phoenix for a 123-118 win at the Big Dome.
In an incredible shooting performance, TNT connected on 13 triples in the second half, eight in the fourth, to finally put away the Fuel Masters.
As a team, the KaTropa shot 18/30 from deep with Troy Rosario leading the pack at six triples.
Rosario thus led the way for the KaTropa with 32 points as TNT once again grabbed a share of first in the team standings. NLEX is the other team with a 3-0 record.
Import KJ McDaniels also finished with 32 points while also grabbing eight rebounds and six assists. RR Pogoy fired 22 points and Jayson Castro was good for 20 points.
Matthew Wright was the high man for Phoenix with 30 points and Eugene Phelps added another 29 markers.
The Fuel Masters dropped to 1-3 with the loss.
