NLEX is a perfect 3-0 to start the 2019 PBA Governors' Cup.

With Kiefer Ravena back, the Road Warriors have zoomed to th top of the team standings but they're in for their toughest test of the conference so far with a loaded weekend in Dubai.

Playing back-to-back games, NLEX has both San Miguel and Ginebra on deck in the Middle East.

"It's a toughness test," head coach Yeng Guiao said on their back-to-back set against the Beermen and the Gin Kings.

"It's a test of your physical and mental toughness," he added.

With a strong start to the Governors' Cup, NLEX's goal in Dubai is to naturally sustain that.

The first game against the Beermen thus becomes a must-win. Tip off will be at 8:00 p.m. Friday live at the Coca-Cola Arena (12:00 a.m. Saturday in Manila). NLEX will then have less than 24 hours before taking on the Gin Kings.

"You win one game it's good enough," Guiao said.

"Huwag lang dalawang talo. Pero iyung manalo ka ng dalawa that's a real indication of the physical and mental toughness of a team, being able to win on the road," he added.
