Soon enough, Columbian’s scrappy nature will finally lead to wins.
At least that’s the hope.
The Dyip were fighting to the end Saturday in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup, pushing first-place TNT to the near limit.
However, Columbian failed to close things out, taking a 125-120 loss at the hands of the KaTropa.
“Magandang experience para sa amin. Siguro sa susunod na game makukuha na namin yung panalo,” top rookie CJ Perez said.
“Sana. Kasi nandoon na kami eh, nabitin lang talaga,” he added.
Perez is confident that he and his team will be able to hang against PBA contenders in the future.
But for the Dyip to actually climb the PBA rankings, they’ll need to actually beat contenders. CJ is confident the can do that too.
“Syempre matututo kami dito sa mga ganito,” Perez said.
“Di lang minsan to mangyayari, for sure. May mga susunod pa. At least sa susunod, alam na namin kung ano gagawin,” he added.
