For the first time since the quarterfinals of the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup, Marcio Lassiter has returned to San Miguel Beer.
Marcio debuted in the 2019 Governors’ Cup, playing for seven minutes and change and scoring two points on top of three rebounds.
“Makikita niyo naman na medyo out of timing pa siya,” head coach Leo Austria said.
“In a few games he will be okay,” he added.
Lassiter injured his knee last conference and was supposed to be out for eight weeks. He went over that in his recovery.
Still, it has to be good news for the Beermen that Marcio is back in action.
“A player after an injury, medyo andun pa ang hesitation. We're after the welfare of the players,” coach Leo said of his star shooter.
“Slowly nakaka-recover siya,” he addded.
