Friday’s showdown between defending champion Magnolia and San Miguel Beer in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup is not a big game.

Well, that’s at least according to Hotshots import Romeo Travis.

“It’s still a lot of season left. A lot of things can happen. You just go out here and play the game and see what happens and take it for what it’s worth,” Travis said of the San Miguel game Friday.

“It’s not a big game, it’s not a playoff game, it’s not going to have playoff implications,” he added.

Both teams are on a three-game winning streak entering the game Friday but the Beermen are at 3-0 and the Hotshots are at 3-1.

Second place near the halfway point of the tournament is basically on the line in this showdown.

“It means something but it’s not a really huge game, you know,” Travis said.

“So we gonna out here, play hard and see what happens. We win, great. We don’t, we gonna learn,” he added.
