PBA: Aces finally get first win at Rain or Shine’s expense

One losing skid had to end Sunday in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup and it was Alaska’s.
The Aces are finally on the board in the season-ending joust, grinding out a 78-71 victory over Rain or Shine at the Big Dome.
Alaska is officially on the win column, improving to 1-5. It’s also Jeffrey Cariaso’s first win as head coach for the Aces.

Import Franko House scored 22 points and grabbed 23 rebounds in a monster effort for Alaska. Jeron Teng debuted this conference and was the Aces’ top local with 18 points to go along with nine boards.
ROS got 25 points from import Kayel Locke. The Elasto Painters have now lost four straight for a 1-5 record.
