PBA: Harris debuts with 45 and NLEX beats Columbian for solo 2nd

ANTIPOLO — NLEX’s big move has paid off immediately.
With a new import, the Road Warriors avoided a collapse against Columbian Wednesday at the Ynares Center here, taking a 117-111 win in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup
NLEX replaced longtime import Olu Ashaolu for former NBA player Manny Harris in a bid to make it to the next level this conference.
The move proved to be an excellent one as Harris scored 45 points in his PBA debut, leading the Road Warriors to a 5-1 record and solo second place halfway through the elimination round.
Columbian dropped to 3-3 with the loss.
On top of 45 points, 27 in the second half, Harris also had five rebounds, four assists, three steals, and three blocks in the NLEX win.
JR Quinahan was the top local for the Road Warriros with 15 points while Kiefer Ravena added 11 points and eight assists.
Top rookie CJ Perez led Columbian with 21 points and Jackson Corpuz was good for another 20.
