ANTIPOLO — Looks like NLEX just found its own super import in Manny Harris.
In his 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup debut, Harris scored 45 points, 27 in the second half, to lead the Road Warriors past Columbian and into solo second place in the team standings.
Harris also had five rebouds, four assists, three blocks, and three steals for good measure. He did all that despite fighting off jet lag.
“I feel okay, I’m just trying to get in game shape because I haven’t played a game in a while. But I feel good that our team was able to get a win,” Harris said.
“There’s always room for improvement. I don’t think I’ve played my best. But the main thing is we were able to get the win, that’s all that really matters,” he added.
Harris says he should be fully adjusted to Manila in a few days. When at full strength, he adds that he’s ready to everything to help the Road Warriors pick up more wins.
And when Harris says everything, he means everything.
“I can do a lot more, rebounds and assists,” he said.
“It might not be every night that you need to score as much points but you might have to get more rebounds and assists. I’m just ready for whatever challenge,” Harris added.
