PBA: TNT gets another shooter in Digregorio

Perfect TNT has added more shooting to its backcourt.

In a deal made official by the PBA Saturday, the KaTropa have acquired guard Mike Digregorio from the Blackwater Elite.

TNT will send Brian Heruela in return.

The KaTropa are undefeated in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup so far, improving to 7-0 after Friday’s overtime win vs. Alaska. TNT is the first team to start with seven straight wins since the PBA became a 12-team league.

Digregorio is the second shooter the KaTropa have acquired in the last few weeks after previously signing Almond Vosotros.

However, Digregorio, who had 22 points in a Blackwater loss to Meralco also Friday, should have a more prominent role in TNT.

Heruela returns to Blackwater following the swap. The stocky champion guard out of Cebu was an Elite Draft pick in 2014.
