“We’re confident in the potential we have but we know we’re not where we want to be at,” Brownlee said. (PBA)
Justin Brownlee is no stranger to the PBA. He knows if his Gin Kings are to win another championship, it’s going to be very tough.
However, just because something is tough to do doesn’t mean it’s impossible.
And Brownlee, a former Best Import and three-time champion, is betting everything on Barangay Ginebra.
“I feel confident,” he said as the Gin Kings improve to 4-2 in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup on the strength of a three-game winning streak.
“It’s just not going to be easy. It’s going to be tough, there’s still a lot of good teams we have to play,” he added.
Ginebra had a rough start this conference, including a game where the team blew a 28-point lead for a loss.
They’re starting to rack up wins now but Brownlee is confident the Gin Kings can still do more.
“We’re confident in the potential we have but we know we’re not where we want to be at,” Brownlee said.
