NLEX is rolling right now in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup.
The Road Warriors are on a four-game winning streak and are tied for first with TNT with a 7-1 record.
If the playoffs started tomorrow, NLEX is the no. 1 seed but the work doesn’s top there for the Road Warriors.
“We still have to be on our toes, it’s a break but it’s not a vacation,” guard Kiefer Ravena said a NLEX will not play another game until Nov. 9.
“It’s a time for us to recover and be on our toes, it’s just gonna be harder and hardner for us kasi you know, once you’re on top everone is going after you,” he added.
With a trip to the playoffs set, NLEX has no plans on making just a quick stop in the first round.
The Road Warriors want to make it all to the way to the Finals and win there too.
“We have to stay healthy, ayaw naman namin na ito lang peak namin,” Kiefer said.
“We can’t be complacent. Ang goal talaga namin is to make the Finals and win the championship, we can’t be contented with the quarterfinals,” Ravena added.
