Following his Iron Man achievement, LA Tenorio has just added another pair of milestones to his colorful PBA career.
With Ginebra’s win over Blackwater Wednesday in the 2019 Governors’ Cup, Tenorio now has 1,000 three-point shots and 800 steals for his career.
He’s one of only two active players to achieve the milestones. He’s behind only James Yap for the 3-point shots made and behind only Chris Ross for most steals.
For both categories, he’s the 7th player to achieve the feat all-time.
“Another milestone. It just shows na I’ve been in the league for quite a while,” Tenorio said.
“I don’t know what to say but thankful ako sa mga blessings na dumadating, sa tiwala ng teams na pinupuntahan ko when I started playing in the PBA,” he added.
With another pair of milestones in the bag, Tenorio just looks to keep going and add more.
LA certainly looks like he’s not slowing down anytime soon. Tenorio led the Gin Kings in scoring with 20 points in the victory over the Elite.
“I’m just very honored and thankful. Hindi naman tumitigil yun, tuloy tuloy pa,” LA said.
“Bibilangin pa ni sir Fidel [Fidel Mangonon, head PBA statistician] yun. Sana marami pang mabilang,” he added.
