PBA: Retooled Magnolia back in action in Governors’ Cup
Banchero debuts for Magnolia Wednesday as the Hotshots take on Phoenix in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup at the Cuneta Astrodome.

Magnolia’s heavy backcourt rotation just added another big piece.

The defending champion Hotshots have traded for Chris Banchero, adding him to a lineup that already has Paul Lee, Mark Barroca, and Jio Jalalon.

Banchero debuts for Magnolia Wednesday as the Hotshots take on Phoenix in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup at the Cuneta Astrodome.

Both teams are trying to stay in the playoff race, with the Hotshots currently at 6th place with an even 4-4 record while the Fuel Masters are on the outside looking in with a 2-6 mark.

Tip off is at 7:00 p.m. right after the first 4:30 p.m. game feauting San Miguel and Blackwater.

The Beermen (5-3) are in 5th but enter with back-to-back defeats. The Elite are in full rebuild mode and are currently in last place with a 2-7 record.
