PBA: Magnolia’s three-guard weapon just got better
The Hotshots may actually have the best backcourt rotation in the league.

Defending PBA Governors’ Cup champion Magnolia already has a incredible lineup of guards at its disposal.

The Hotshots may actually have the best backcourt rotation in the league.

With a mega trade that landed them Chris Banchero, Magnolia’s elite crew of guards just got stronger and the team’s vaunted three-guard set up just got more fearsome.

As Banchero gets comfortable with Magnolia, the Hotshots now have more options for their closing lineup featuring three guards to annoy the opponent into submission.

“Yun ang endgame namin,” head coach Chito Victolero said on their three-guard lineup.

“Basta importante, we cotrol the game with those three guards,” he added.

Who those three guards are will depend per game according to Victolero.

With gus like Banchero, Paul Lee, Mark Barroca, Jio Jalalon, and Justin Melton at his disposal, Victolero can afford to get creative for the Hotshots.

“It depends on the matchup. Maraming pwedeng gawin,” he said.

“I’m very happy na may weapon akong ganun. I can go big, I can go small. Depende yun sa match-up namin,” Victolero added.
