Plan B is in effect for San Miguel Beer.

The Beermen are replacing Dez Wells as import in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup, going with John Holland starting Saturday against Rain or Shine in Cebu.

Holland is the latest former NBA player to suit up as import in the PBA. He had a previous stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

San Miguel is in fourth place in the team standings with a 6-3 record but they played Wednesday against Blackwater without Wells. The Beermen needed overtime to escape the Elite.

Wells was a super scorer for the Beermen but he had an ankle injury during San Miguel’s two-game losing skid mid conference.
