PBA: Gin Kings clinch playoff bonus with big win over Dyip

Barangay Ginebra has clinched a twice-to-beat advantage for the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup quarterfinals.
The Gin Kings turned it up late and pummeled Columbian Dyip Friday at the Big Dome, scoring a 113-90 win.
After Columbian came roaring back to make it a game in the third quarter, the Gin Kings answered in kind in the fourth, dominating the rest of the way to to notch their seventh win.
At 7-3, Ginebra keeps fourth place in the standings and is still in play for a top-3 finish.
Meanwhile, the Dyip dropped out of the top-8 with a third straight loss. Columbian finish the conference with a 4-7 record and are currently in 9th place.
Ginebra had three 20-point scorers led by Justin Brownlee's 26. JB also had nine rebounds and nine assists for almost another triple-double.
Jeff Chan and Stanley Pringle added 20 each for the Gin Kings while Japeth Aguilar was good for 19 points.
Columbian got 34 points and 22 rebounds from import Khapri Alston in a losing effort.
