Jeff Chan is slowly finding his range consistently for Barangay Ginebra.
The veteran sniper was on target for the Gin Kings Friday, firing four out of six triples for 20 points.
Chan was one of three 20-point scorers for the Gin Kings as Ginebra clinched a twice-to-beat edge in the 2019 Governors’ Cup quarterfinals with a win over Columbian.
“Nice to see Jeff out there, knocking shots down. It’s really fun to watch him shoot,” head coach Tim Cone said.
“When he gets going, he really gets it going,” Cone added.
Chan, who has battled injuries in his time with Ginebra, hopes to be consistent as the Gin Kings gear up for a playoff run.
With a game to spare before the playoffs, getting ready for the next round will be key for Chan and the Gin Kings.
“Ayaw namain na maging relaxed going to the playoffs, syempre kailangan mo sa playoffs kumpiyansa mo mataas,” Chan said.
“Hopefully lang maging consistent, para makatulong going to the playoffs,” he added.
