PBA: Surging Bolts make final play for top seed

It’s the penultimate day of the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup elimination round and teams are busy battling for playoff positions.
In the first game at 4:30 p.m., Meralco makes its final case for no. 1 as the Bolts take on Rain or Shine.
Meralco is the hottest team in the league with five straight wins and at 8-2, the Bolts are in second place behind NLEX.
A win by Meralco and a loss by the Road Warriors means that the Bolts will the the no. 1 seed in the Governors’ Cup for the second time in three years.
Meanwhile, ROS is fighting for its season as the Elasto Painters enter with a 3-7 mark.
In the second game at 6:45 p.m., Northport (4-6) is also fighting for its season.
Standing in the way of the Batang Pier is Barangay Ginebra. The Gin Kings have sealed their place int he top-4 with a 7-3 mark but they will be fighting for their final playoff seeding that will determine their quarterfinals opponent.
