The first pick of the 2019 Gilias Pilipinas Draft is Isaac Go.

Columbian selected the big man out of Ateneo to open Sunday’s proceedings at Robinson’s Manila. Go is the first top pick from Ateneo since Greg Slaughter in 2013.

Go will be loaned to Gilas Piliinas through the 2023 FIBA World Cup but his PBA rights will be retained by Columbian.

For the second straight year, the Dyip have the top pick in the Draft. Last year, Columbian selected CJ Perez out of Lyceum.

For the second Gilas pick, Blackwater took UE’s one-and-done star Rey Suerte.

NLEX got another former Ateneo guard in Matt Nieto at no. 3 while Alaska took San Sebastian’s Allyn Bulanadi with the fourth pick.

Completing the Gilas draft was Rain or Shine, and the Elasto Painters used their pick on Mike Nieto.
