Five years after being named as the top pick of the 2014 PBA Draft, Stanley Pringle finally advances to the PBA Finals.
Pringle will make his Finals debut when Barangay Ginebra battles Meralco anew for the PBA Governors’ Cup title.
If you know anything about Pringle, he’ll give it everything he has, regardless of stage.
Still, making the Finals is a big deal.
“It’s really big, my first Finals appearance,” he said.
“But I’ve played on big stages before, so I’ll give everything I have. My teammates know that,” Pringle added.
As he makes his first-ever PBA Finals, Pringle is trying to downplay the moment.
His focus now is actually winning the title, and that includes the preparation of it all before Game 1 tips off on January 7, 2020.
“I thank my teammates and the coaching staff, but I'm not really thinking too much of it. I'm just gonna play hard and leave it all on the floor, try to get a championship,” Pringle said.
“I expect everybody to be healthy and ready to go. It should be a real exciting Finals,” he added.
