Barangay Ginebra is on top of the PBA mountain once again after shutting down Meralco in five games to capture the 2019 PBA Governors' Cup.
Justin Brownlee was awesome per usual and Stanley Pringle balled out in his first-ever Finals.
But the Honda-PBA Press Corps Finals MVP is Japeth Aguilar, who was key on both ends in the Gin Kings' latest tile conquest.
Aguilar, who won his first Finals MVP award, averaged 17.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.4 blocks in the series.
He saved his best performance for last in Game 5, leading the Gin Kings in scoring with 25 points on top of eight rebounds, and four blocks.
