With a new PBA title coming to his trophy collection, LA Tenorio now turns his attention into volunteer work.
The Ginebra star will help spearhead the league's outreach effort to the people affected by Taal Volcano's eruptions over the past week.
Tenorio, who is a native of Nasugbu, Batangas, is especially eager to help.
"May plano kami, kinausap na rin ako ni Comm. [Willie Marcial] about sa plano ng PBA," LA said.
"So ako yung isasama niya. I think personally, I'll go sa mga kamag-anak ko. Nasa Lipa sila nga, dun sila nag-evacuate eh," Tenorio added.
The effects of Taal's eruption literally hits close to home for LA and Batangueños were a late, but key inspiration for the team's title run in the Governors' Cup.
Now after hopefully making their fans smile with a championship, LA just wants to actually help.
"Ako personally, kasi marami akong relatives sa Taal. Actually mga ancestor ng Tenorio sa Taal talaga yan. Yung dad ko, taga Taal so nandoon sila ngayon," LA said.
"I will go, especially ngayon marami na oras. I'm just happy na na-panalo namin ito for them," Tenorio added.
