Jamie Malonzo is all set to go from one-and-done in De La Salle University to the one for AMA Online Education.
The do-it-all athletic wing is poised to go first overall in the 2020 PBA D-League Draft scheduled on Monday at the PBA Office in Libis, Quezon City.
Malonzo, fresh off a Mythical selection in his lone season as a Green Archer, is expected to follow the footsteps of Jeron Teng, Owen Graham, and Joshua Munzon as AMA's brand new cornerstone.
After the Filipino-American, names assumed to be called at the top of the order are former University of the Philippines swingman and current Gilas Pilipinas pool player Jaydee Tungcab, ex-collegiate stars Jollo Go and Jerie Pingoy, and Cebuano studs Darrell Menina and Jaybie Mantilla.
League stalwarts Marinerong Pilipino Centro Escolar University own the second and third picks, respectively.
In all, 137 players are hoping to have their names called in the rookie selection process of the developmental league.
