Everyone is in on the 3x3 basketball craze.
The PBA is also finally on the 3x3 basketball scene, with the league set to unveil its own tournament for the 45th season this year.
The PBA's 3x3 basketball tournament will be a major topic of discussion when the PBA Board holds its annual meeting, this time in Milan, Italy, before the March opening of the new season.
3x3 basketball has caught on in the country and the Philippines is hopeful to get a spot in the Tokyo Olympics. The national 3x3 team will try to get its slot via the Olympic Qualifiers.
The new discipline will make its debut in the 2020 Summer Games.
Also a major topic in the PBA Board's annual meeting is the upcoming schedule of Gilas Pilipinas.
The national team will see action in the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers in February before seeing action again come November.
"The league is still in break in February, so the PBA players are free to join Gilas if they're invited to reinforce the national team. We'll hear from SBP president Al Panlilio," said PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial.
