PBA: Soyud leads NLEX to second win in pocket tourney
Raul Soyud drops 22 points in NLEX's second win in a row.

Raul Soyud powered NLEX to a 104-89 victory over Alaska on Wednesday in the Phoenix Super Basketball pocket tournament at the Upper Deck in Pasig City.

Soyud bulldozed his way to 22 points, missing only once in 10 attempts from the field, and pulled down eight rebounds for the Road Warriors’ second win in as many games.

Kevin Alas added 18 markers, Bong Galanza scored 11 points while Will Mcaloney finished 10 for NLEX, who sat out Poy Erram. The 6-foot-8 big man is currently in the midst of talks in a three-team trade with TNT Katropa and Blackwater.  

The Aces slid to a 1-1 card.

Vic Manuel led Alaska with 28 points on 11-of-22 shooting and had eight boards. Michael Digregorio posted 15 markers while Abu Trattter added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Aces.
