San Miguel Beer will let star center June Mar Fajardo heal his broken leg and he can take all the time he needs.
June Mar can also take all the resources he needs.
As far as SMC sports director Alfrancis Chua is concerned though, he recommends that Fajardo to stay home instead of other options like seeking treatment from abroad.
"Magagaling ang mga doctor natin dito," Chua said.
"Sa States, after an operation, ang therapy doon kanya-kanya. I think mas maganda dito, iba yung nakatutok eh," he added.
The Beermen could lose Fajardo for all of the PBA's upcoming season after June Mar suffered a complete tibia fracture in practice.
Fajardo is the league's reigning five-time Most Valuable Player. A sixth straight award isn't hard to imagine coming after his work last season.
He's still also only 30 years old. June Mar is not only a valuable asset to the Beermen but for the national team as well.
Fajardo will come back when he's ready.
"Lahat ng oras na pwedeng ipahinga ni June Mar, pag 110 percent na siya, that's the time he can practice.
