June Mar Fajardo and Marc Pingris are buddies for life.
More than the brotherhood they forged on the basketball court, the two are as close as they could get because of video games.
The two are avid gamers across all platforms, their affinity for gaming is well known.
With all of Luzon under enhanced community quarantine due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Ping and June Mar are back to their video games.
DOTA is the game of choice for the moment.
"Hindi kami magkasama [naglalaro ng DOTA]. Nasa bahay ako, siya naman nasa condo niya," Ping said.
"Somehow, magandang therapy ito at nalilibang kami," he added.
Even before the quarantine, June Mar has been pretty much stuck at home, recovering from a leg injury.
Ping is healthy, and video games are not the only thing that keeps him busy nowadays.
"Pero para sakin, more dasal and gym. Then, tumutulong sa bahay sa paglilinis and nakikipag-laro sa mga bata," the Magnolia forward said.
"Sumasali ako sa zumba, then gym lang rin sa bahay," Ping added.
