The initial two-week suspension of practices for PBA teams has been extended.

In a memo from the office of PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial Monday, all league teams are barred from conducting practices and other related team activites until further notice.

After suspending its season on March 11 due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the PBA issued a memo to all teams to not conduct practices for two weeks.

The first memo on regarding the suspension of practices was to last until this Friday, March 27.

However, President Rodrigo Duterte has since placed all of Luzon under enhanced community quarantine due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.

"We ask you full cooperation and compliance and encourage everyone to stay fit and healthy in the confines and safety of their homes," the memo read.

"Please continue to follow the guidelines set by our government health workers and standby for updates."
