If you thought a rookie CJ Perez was beastly, wait until you see him extra motivated.
In just one season with Columbian, Perez averaged over 20 points to become scoring champion, joined both the All-PBA and Defensive teams, and won Rookie of the Year.
Pinaghirapan naman talaga," Perez said of his Rookie of the Year award.
Despite not making the playoffs in his first year, CJ helped the Dyip almost double their total wins.
For their second season, the goal now is to make that next step and advance.
"Dagdag kumpiyansa para sakin kasi nakuha ko yung [Rookie of the Year] award.
