When the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup comes back, teams will be lining up to take down San Miguel Beer as the undisputed All-Filipino champions.

An intriguing dark-horse pick has to be Northport, with the PBA's latest BPC in Christian Standhardinger and the always underrated Sean Anthony leading the way.

The Batang Pier showed a glimpse of what they can do last year with this new team, making it all the way to the Governors' Cup semifinals as the no. 8 seed.

Things should look up in the All-Filipino for Northport if the team just simply runs it back.

"We think we have a great squad, a great team. We're looking forward to coming out again and having a great year," Anthony said.

"We're looking forward to winning a championship more than anything," he added.

For a very solid team season and a great individual performance last year, Anthony was duly recognized, earning his place in the All-PBA 1st team and the All-Defensive team.

While that is nice, and Sean is thankful, the PBA championship is his only main target for his 10th year in the league.

"I'm not so worried about the individual thing, the big thing is the team win a championship and that's my biggest motivation," Anthony said.

"That being said as well, I got to thank my teammates from last year, coaches, and everything for getting me involved, and trusting me and allowing me to showcase what I have," he added.
