PBA: Rosario steps up relief effort as ECQ drags on
The plight of the homeless hits close to home for Rosario. The KaTropa forward says he knows the feeling of struggling to put food on the table.

The enhanced community quarantine in Luzon due to the COVID-19 outbreak has surpassed the one-month mark.

Naturally, some people are finding it hard dealing with just fulfilling their daily needs.

PBA players have not turned a blind eye with the struggles of those with lesser fortunes, with each doing their own to help.

In particular, TNT's Troy Rosario has chosen to step up his work in his own community.

"First few weeks ng lockdown I was helping through donations, hoping and praying na matapos na itong pandemic," Rosario wrote on his Instagram.

Packing our first batch of relief goods for distribution tomorrow. Posting this not to brag but to inspire others. First few weeks ng lockdown I was helping thru donations hoping and praying na matapos na itong pandemic. Unfortunately, na-extend yung lockdown. So right now I just want to do my part to help people na walang wala dahil naapektuhan nitong crisis. Alam ko yung pakiramdam na wala ng mahugot at mapambili ng pagkain. Malalagpasan din natin to. Magtiwala lang at magdasal. Keep safe everyone! ???????? ====== Thank you Boss Ninong Hans Sy, Sm Fairview (admin), @gelfoam07 (frontliner from Ireland and Darel Ibasco (Dxb Ofw) for helping. If you want to donate, just message/dm me. ????????????????

Troy and his family's individual food packs were distributed last Easter Sunday. He's still calling for donations to keep the relief drive going.
