ABS-CBN Sports will give fans a new and innovative viewing experience in the maiden Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference.
Online viewers will have the liberty to choose which angle of view they want to catch the action with the 'multi-cam livestreaming' at sports.abs-cbn.com.
ABS-CBN Integrated Sports head Dino Laurena announced the innovation Tuesday during the press launch of the league.
"We're putting something forward that has never been done before in the Philippines," said Laurena. "You're familiar with livestreaming. Dito po sa PVL, kakaiba ang livestream na ito."
In the 'multi-cam livestreaming', there are three camera setups – the main camera or the wide view, net view and the end zone view.
“We'll also start first with three cameras to find out perhaps more and more later where the other points of interest would be,” Lauren added.
“Marami na ang nagtatanong sa amin, when the season starts,” he continued. “You'll find that it's as easy as pressing a button on your cellphone.”
A wide-open race for the title looms between multi-titled Pocari Sweat, Creamline, BaliPure, Power Smashers, Perlas Spikers and Air Force.
Matches will be on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The conference starts on April 30 at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
